Quick Recap:Kelly is dating Tom. Brandon is dating Tracy. They're both still in love with each other though. It's totally obvious.

Quick Overview:It's Valentine's Day. Expect drama.
Donna's gorgeous fireman boyfriend, Cliff, returns and causes problems for Donna and David. Girl, I don't care how amazing David is - you always go for the hot fireman.
Val's mother Abby arrives in town and asks Val for money.
Steve takes up pot smoking with Dick Harrison. Clare gets pissed off.
David's friend Chloe makes her singing debut, and David gets to MC for Luther Vandross.
Tracy finds the engagement ring that Brandon bought (and still keeps) for Kelly, and thinks that Brandon is going to propose to her.

Highlights:
-Tom looks so excited about the prospect of jogging this morning.
-I'm confused as to why you need pot in order to play golf? But, this is Dick's "present" to Steve. … Happy Valentine's Day?
-That's a big ass sign.
-I find it ironic that Val's mother looks a little bit like Kelly Taylor at 50 or so.
-HOW THE HELL DOES DAVID KNOW ALL THESE FAMOUS PEOPLE!?!
-Oh, apparently David's father saved Luther Vandross from a bad toothache once. Because that happens all the time in real life…
-Oh my God, he's back! He's back, he's back, he's back! Yay!
-Brandon just totally called Valerie out about being a manipulative bitch. He didn't use quite that terminology, but you get the idea.
-"I can't believe Clare is so uptight." Um Steve, where have you been for the last two years?
-I'm totally still on Jennie Garth baby bump watch, by the way. But other than a slightly less skin-tight dress than usual, there's nothing to report.
Now Luther Vandross is singing a sappy romance song, and we're getting cheesy montages of all the couples. Best part was Steve coming in high, and Clare getting disgusted and walking away. Steve just stood there with a huge oblivious grin on his face.
-I'm having urges to just jump on Cliff. Unfortunately, I can't do that, and it's making me a little sad.
-Um…haha? That's just…um…yeah.
-Tracy finds ring. Tracy thinks ring is for her. Tracy basically throws herself on Brandon and says yes. Brandon looks awkward. Brandon has Kelly proposal flashback. Tracy realizes it's not for her. Now Tracy looks awkward. Happy Valentine's Day!!

Lowlights:
- "I'm already taking you to see Luther Vandross at the After Dark. Isn't that enough?" Wow Brandon, you're so romantic.
-Geeze Clare - the girl got held hostage at gun point. I think she's allowed to take more than one day to get over it.
-Valerie's mom is coming to town. They don't get along. Val is depressed. Blah, blah, blah…
-"Cliff, I have a boyfriend." "Yeah, I figured you would." Um…hmm…I don't know quite how I'd take that if I were Donna.
-Awkkkkkwarddd.
-I mean, I know that Cliff is gorgeous, and I'd be all over him too - but not if I had another boyfriend. Donna stays in bed all week, and won't even bat an eye at David, and then suddenly she's up and happy going for walks with Cliff. I understand David being upset.
-Alas, another person with parental issues. Seems to be a running theme on this show. FYI: Valerie and her mom basically hate each other.
-Oh God, here we go again.
-I think Kelly's just amazed that Valerie is actually showing some real emotion for once.
-I can tell that Tom is really broken up about Kelly dumping him.
